Takeshita Dori

It is the most famous street (Dori) in Harajuku, it span across 400 meters with both side are full of unique and characteristic stores selling all sort of fashion which is more cater for young teenagers and tourists.

If you are fans of Japanese or Korean idol, you can get many photos, postcard, keychain, posters about the idols here. Just note down the number of the product and pass over to someone at the counter, roughly cost 500 yen per item.

Always pack with customers no matter what time you visit the shop, it is famous of its wide variety designs, some designer like accessories design. TBS television and "Popteen" ladies magazine always intro and review this store.

3. SOS Market

It is the cheapest price product in Takeshita Dori, its product ranging from 1,000 - 1900 yen.

4. Shamrock Air

A very special store where the theme color is pink color and the store layout is like in airplane cabin. It sells all the the Bandai brand related latest product that relate to airplanes and travel products.

5. Rock 'N' Roll Museum

Beams celebrated its 20th year of opening, the Beams brand is widely famous international as well as local in Japan. There are so many outlets of Beams fashion around the globe and Japan, but the most dense and unique one would be in Beams Street Harajuku, a total of 9 different theme Beams outlets setup side by side along the street.

From Harajuku station front exit to Takeshita Dori, walk straight till the end of Takeshita Dori, go across the street, make a left turn and you will see Birkenstock, go further straight down and you will see a lot of different styles of Beams outlet there.

Focus on boyish casual wear that for lady teenagers. It has big fans and the latest designs always came up in famous teenager fashion magazines.

Kiddy Land

A six storey building which are selling famous cartoon character products like Hello Kitty, Doraemon, Barbie and etc. It attracts many visitors (kids and adults) everyday.

Access information: 5 minutes walk from Harajuku station Omotesando exit, opposite Laforet and Omotesando Hills.

Burberry Blue Label

It is the usual practice to visit Burberry Blue Label to every shopping fans that travel to Japan. Because Burberry Blue Label is design in Japan and can only sold in Japan, most important it has the same quality of Burberry and selling at a lower price tag.

Access information: At Harajuku towards Shibuya direction, after UT Store you will see it.

SM2

Establish in 1986, originally called as samansamos2, officially changed to SM2 in 1996, it has total of 100 outlets in Japan. Design focus is simple and comfortable. It has a lot of lady fans, the price is also very reasonable.

Access information: At the end of Takeshita Dori, make a right turn and it is just there.

Birkenstock

It is not alien to many people that this 232 years of fashion brand - Birkenstock, which famous of comfortable clothing and footwear around the world. There are many special edition products can be found here.

Access information: At the end of Takeshita Dori, just opposite the road and next to Beams Street.

Bathing Ape

Established by Nigo in 1993, famous of Japanese authentic street fashion, it has outlets in New York, London and Hong Kong. Even Becham the soccer super star and Destiny's Child are also the fan of Bathing Ape.

Access information: At the back of Omotesando Hills.

Adidas Originals Shop

Japan style of Adidas Originals Shop, selling all Japan limited edition Adidas products which you can only get here.

Access information: 5 minutes walk from Harajuku station Omotesando exit, look for hhstyle first, then walk further and you will see it right in front.

Heat Wave

It has 5 outlet in Harajuku, it is actually a 2nd hand goods shops that you can buy or sell you item here. 2nd hand or used clothing in Japan is widely accepted by the teenagers as the used item are all very unique and usually are limited edition items.

Access information: 10 minutes walk from Harajuku station.

Graniph

Focus only selling T-shirts, it has massive of different designs, all the T-shirt has a same price tag, single T-shirt price is 2,625 yen, two T-shirt pack is 4,200 yen.

Hare

Flagship product design is similar to Dior Homme for men design only. The product price is set at middle lower range which give people who are cannot afford to buy Dior Homme.

Agnes b Voyage

This is the only Agnes b outlet that sell only Voyage series products, total of 3 storey building and the most interesting part of its store front design is the main building surface material is using reflective material that can reflect anything that is facing it, act like a mirror. The pricing of products here are cheaper in other Asia countries.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Harajuku

A two storey building with upper floor selling all men's, ladies fashion, watches, and handbags. The lower floor selling some special item that are not yet available in Asia, particular the theme is Marc by [Special Items], these items are unique with great innovation with lower price as compare to standard flagship products.

Access information: At the back of Ralph Lauren outlet of Omotesando Hills, and next to Merimekko.

Department Stores

1. Laforet at Harajuku

It has 150 shops in it, products cover all sort of price point, international designer brands to local brands. Some famous one like Side by Side, TOPSHOP and many more.

Access information: JR Harajuku station, Omotesando exit, walk till the end of road.

2. GYRE-Omotesando

Focus on high end lifestyle designer brands, total of 17 international brands outlet here in a 6 storey lifestyle building. Brands are like Channel, Bvlgari, MoMA, Lupicia, Cinagro, Euro passion, and etc.  

Access information: At Omotesando station A2 exit, near Kiddy Land.

3. Omotesando Hills

The landmark of fashion in Tokyo. The specialty of Omotesando Hills is its artistic building architecture design. It follows the sloping angle of the Omotesando street of slanting of 3 degree, 700 meter in length, 34,061 meter squares. It has 93 shops in all 3 halls, mostly all the shops are selling top branded designer goods like fashion clothing, jewelry, furniture and electronics gadgets and etc.

Access information: 9 minutes walk from Harajuku station Omotesando exit and opposite of Kiddy Land.

4. B6

B6 stands for B: Be Natural, 6: the sixth street in front of Jingu Temple. It has total of 28 clothing and accessories shops, 6 cafe and restaurants, and 6 beauty centers. It really give people the feeling of going back to nature, true relaxation.
