Shenzhen is becoming the shopping heaven to many tourist especially to foreign traveler whether they are business travelers or tourists, all of them like shopping in Shenzhen as they can get very low price goods with good enough quality. During weekend, a lot of Hong Kong resident will travel across the border with train to do house hold shopping, raw cooking materials like vegetables, fishes and meats, some are go for cloths and dresses, other go for leisure window shopping and dinning. 1. Louhu Shopping Mall It is situated right next to the immigrant center and Louhu train station the boarder between Hong Kong and Shenzhen. It has about 6 stories with selling massive goods ranging from cloths, dresses, watches, tea leaves, electronics appliances, luggage, bags, shoes, Chinese handy crafts, paintings, antiques, medicines and sports accessories particularly golf equipment. It has also some restaurants, leg massage centers, manicure and pedicure shops. Famous goods to get here are: a. Luggage bags depend on size and quality, ranging 100 RMB to 300 RMB b. Dinner bags, all sort of famous international brands (LV, Gucci, Tods, Burberry, many more), but it is copied or fake one. e. Golf set and accessories, must ask for superb A quality set else you might have headache finding after some games the club head will fall off from the shaft. f. Leather shoes (ladies) g. at Louhu station. 2. Dong Men Shopping Street and Malls This place is mostly visited by local folks and some Hong Kong people, hardly foreigners spend their shopping time here. Basically there are shops all around the places from underground to up in the sky. There are few hundred tiny shops underground shopping street here. Many shopping malls along Dong Men street. The stuff sell here are mostly fashion cloths, dresses, shoes, bags, VCDs/DVDs. Access information: Take subway and stop at Laojia station.
3. Huaqiangbei Electronics Gadgets,
Mobile Phones and Personal Computer related stuff If you are electronics gadgets, mobile phones and PC fans, you must visit here. This is the largest electronics appliance street in southern China, many people compare Shenzhen Huaqiangbei to Akihabara in Tokyo. Here you can get the latest and coolest copied and innovated electronics gadgets with very reasonable price. If you are missing or looking for any PC related parts you can easily get here whether in bulk or just a few sample pieces. In here there is also another famous product which is so unique to China - The Copied & Localized Phone that has a lot of functions integrated into a mobile phone. They have copied iPhone into various size and functions, other phones has zoom lens camera integrated, some are with very weird design like a match box phone.
