Family trip is important and the agenda of the travel itinerary needs to fit the kids more than the parents, lesser traveling time and more time for kids to have fun and relax. So here for this 5D4N Tokyo Japan vacation happy family itinerary will specifically cater for the kids, at some points the places of interest will have some similarity attraction to the parents too as some of the theme park and cartoon or anime character is our parents favor too. Day 1: Check In Hotel Check in hotel, walking around places nearby, find a nice restaurant to have dinners and rest well for tomorrow excitement journey. Day 2: Hotel - Tokyo Disneyland Tokyo Disneyland is the most famous theme park in Japan, really worth to visit since it has a very special Sea theme which is unique to Japan only, you cannot find it in other countries Disneyland. More over year it just celebrated its 25 years of anniversary in Japan, so a lot of special activities will be organized throughout the year. Advice to get into the park early in the morning with day pass and enjoy your stay in there until the last show which is the giant fireworks show at the end of the day. Day 3: Hotel - Mitaka - Ikeburo Spend the morning session in Miyazaki Ghibli museum in Mitaka. It is a museum which is suitable for children and parents, since there are many animation characters, buildings, scenery by the great animation master of Japan - Hayao Miyazaki. In the afternoon take bus back to Ikeburo shop in the Sunshine City for kids clothing, also you can some time in the Namja Town which is a smaller theme park but it is good enough to have a lot fun there. Day 4: Hotel - Ueno - Asakusa - Odaiba From hotel to Ueno Park and Ueno Zoo, there are many unique animals there, especially the Panda from China. Then visit Asakusa Senshoji and have lunch in the old street of Tokyo with very delicious authentic Japanese foods. Take the ferry ride to Odaiba, it takes about an hour to reach there. You can visit Ship museum and science center in Odaiba, also there are many department stores in Odaiba that also sell a lot of kids clothing too. Day 5: Hotel - Airport Shopping 4 days down the road with non-stop theme park experience, you and your kids sure be very exhausted, advice to have more rest in Hotel before departing to airport. At the airport you still can do your last minute shopping for souvenirs in the tax free shops.
