In the first part of Tokyo Japan Vocation
series information sharing, Shinjuku is the first one in the list to
share. Even though many places in Tokyo operate 24 hours 7 days a week,
but Shinjuku still stands out as the most unique non sleep places
through out the year. It gives people the feeling that the night is
still young and you always will continue to hanging around there for
the fun and excited it provides to you. The famous street will be the
Kabuki-cho with pubs, bars, KTVs and disco lining up the street. At the
east site of Shinjuku, there is the latest developed digital gadgets
and technology street, also the most authentic local heritage foods
stalls and restaurants there. Whereas at the east and south side, there
numerous shopping malls which each of them has its superb uniqueness
architectural and interior design, if you have not been to this malls,
you are not really been to Tokyo.
Shinjuku Sight Seeing Places
1. Kabuchi-cho
The most entertaining neon light street
orchestra at night in Tokyo. It is also the most happening red light
district in Tokyo. Many tourists stop by here during their Tokyo Japan
vacation, just to snap some photos of the magnificent neon light
landscape and adult entertainment showcase here. It is situated at the
northeast of Shinjuku station.
2. Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building
At West Shinjuku or Nishi Shinjuku, there
numerous modern skyscrapers, the famous one is Tokyo Metropolitan
Government Building where you can have a very nice panorama view of
Tokyo cities in the day and night view, if weather is good at autumn
and winter, you can even see Mt. Fuji from here. The north and south
observation deck at 45th floor is totally FREE OF CHARGE!

3. Shinjuku Gyoen
Shinjuku Gyoen used to be the palace
garden, with land area of 50 thousands meter squares. There are few
thousands of different floras, with Sakura tree alone it is already
1500 of them, so every time during Sakura blossom period in April,
Shinjuku Gyoen will attracts millions of visitors to gather here to
watch the blossom of Sakura and picnic here. In November, it is the
Chrysanthemem blossom period and get the Gyoen with a different
beautiful scenic view.
