Les Trois Vallees

It is advise to hired the Campagnie des Guides de Chamonix at a cost of €300 per day for 1-4 people, as to really enjoy the full mountain scenery. Especially the well-known off-piste run The Vallee Balanche, an astonishing 20km route that circular from the 3800m Aiguile du Midi cable car through seracs, ice, powder fields and crevasses. Not advise to wandering around alone and unguided off-piste is really dangerous.

How to Get There & Around

You can get access into these sky fields from either at Lyon in France or through Geneva. At the international airport of Geneva, get a coach transfers to Les Trois Vallees and Chamonix about 1 hour and 20 minutes ride. The coaches/buses ticket is available at the desks in the arrival terminal.

For Val d'Is¨¨re, it is a bit far about 3 hours from Geneva by road / train. Bourg-Saint-Maurice is the nearest train station to Val d'Isere, where you can hike a private transfer or board a coach into the Tarentaise Valley with about 45 minutes pleasant journey.
